Andrew Craig

He grew up with a brother 3 years older and was involved with sports from an early age. Like many from Texas, he did his share of hunting, fishing and pretty much anything outdoors. He graduated from Stratford High School in 2004 where he played football and pole vaulted.
Andrew graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Corporate Communications. During his time at school, he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon, an avid UT football fan, and frequently wakeboarded. It was during college where he first discovered Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu through his cousin, Travis Tooke. Andrew was also drawn to Muay Thai and boxing. After graduating in 2008, Andrew decided he would give MMA a try.
Back in Houston, Andrew rejoined Travis Tooke and began training full time with Jace Pitre heading up his striking. Andrew had his first amateur fight in 2009 and went 4-0 capping off his amateur career with a 185 lb. title. In 2010, Andrew began fighting pro and strung together 6 wins, 2 titles and zero losses. After win number 6, the UFC signed him to a four-fight contract. Andrew now has a 2-1 record in the UFC fighting in Australia, California, and Brazil. Andrew is considered one of the top young prospects at 185 lbs. in the UFC. Andrew expects to win a UFC championship belt in the future, as well as own his own gym in Austin, Texas.
