Jose Llanas instructor with Team Tooke Mixed Martial Arts Houston TX - Coaches-Jose-1(1)Jose Llanas is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Kids Leadership Team Instructor at Team Tooke MMA. Jose's roots in Martial Arts date back when he started Tae Kwon Do and boxing as a teenager. After watching Royce Gracie submit his much bigger opponents, he knew Jiu-Jitsu was special and he had to learn. Unfortunately, there were not many Jiu-Jitsu school in the area. It wasn't until Jose met Jayhson Rodgers who lead him to Travis Tooke and Team Tooke.


Currently a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and with overall experience in Martial Arts expanding close to a decade. Jose has developed a passion for teaching and coaching, as well as a desire to help other reach their goals. He has also become part of the BJJ and MMA competition team. Some of his goals and dreams are winning a World Championships in Jiu Jitsu and continue fighting MMA at the professional level.
